I couldn't resist making a special video in honour of Hugo and Princess Bea of their cross country session back in May.

As well as Hugo, we also brought my new horse, Bea, to visit Wellington last weekend with these results. I think coming down the bank just blew her young little mind, she'll be back!

Little did we know that the air ambulance was about to get scrambled for Hollie. Hope you are doing better and that your be back on-board soon. After our issues coming back down the bank, Bea also found the coffin almost as challanging as Minchkin, she knew it would be daft to attempt to jump David's nasty horse trap!

Hugo's Return

There could be no mistaking the return of George and Hugo for the afternoon......

Thanks to Wokingham Riding Club we returned for a X-country schooling session to celebrate the new jumps and the clan bill of health. Nice to be back.

Hugo and Ciara were lucky enough to do dressage at Mattingley just ahead of the floods a few weeks back.

They were on top form at Burnham Beeches this weekend!

And my treat this weekend is riding Claudius - a few twists in the stirrup leathers will be required.

If you squint and put your nose against the screen you'll just about make out Tommie Tom and Legs having pony love in the field.

The weekend!

Sadly the weekend's been and gone. It started with Brian and Claude's lesson and ended quite rightly with a beer at the pub!

In between there was lots of shopping (yes it took 4 attempts to find the right sized fly sheet for Geoff) and pony faffing.

Claude and Geoff spent an hour in the field munching together with Claude squeeling and bucking to try and kick start some hooning. Naturally it didn't get the reaction he wanted from Geoff, who couldn't lift his head from eating position.

The yard has been transformed - if any of the horses had stood still for long enough they might have been painted - the hospitality tent and stands are in place and competitors for Premier League are rolling up.

Newest member Theo looks very settled in his new spot and Hugo is still in charge of the field!

Missing you already

Wellington may seem a little quieter for a bit with Gav and George jetting off on a new adventure.

I think this chap's going to miss his mum.

Wow! What a day!

It all kicked off with Mrs Buckley and Hugo wowing us with a fab cross country round (expect full report soon - click here for video)...
