Premier League

Well, it is over for another year, and I think we have all just about recovered! A fantastic show, I think all would agree. Shame about the weather for the gala evening, but none the less everyone seemed to have a good time. I managed to escape the office for a little while to watch Jennie Loriston Clarkes demo ride with Nicky and Richard Barrett which was highly entertaining and very interesting, and proof that even horses at the very top level can spook at an umbrella!
Above, enjoying the fabulous hospitality marquee this year hosted by Louise and the Sherfield equestrian team.

Right, anyone want to put a caption to what John and Paul may be pointing at and discussing?!

Next dressage event is the Area Festival in September, after many weeks of JC - it all starts this weekend after the showjumping.

Many thanks to all helpers during last weeks show - we couldn't have done it without you!

John is pointing to the ground and saying "We can bury the umbrella there and the culprits right next to it".

So sorry for wanting to stay dry and keep the rain out of the drinkies......but in hindsight, maybe a drop more water on the night may have prevented next morning's headaches!
